i saw the web page it's great...the rare photos are awesome.you can put current tour dates for felix and gene and dino...bobby m I have always been a huge fan of the Rascals. Since I first heard them in 1965. Have all of their LP's minus Island Of Real also the 2 Bulldog LP's with Gene & Dino. Plus a couple of Felix solo efforts. Cheers Denis Davey. Nice to get this info. I love the Young Rascals, I was 16 in 1967, born and living in Argentina, I have since moved to the U.S. Back then there were a handful of Rascals fanatics in Argentina!!!
My favourite album is GROOVIN' and among many other great songs probably favourite track is BABY LET'S WAIT (those harmonies...). Any chnace I may have e-mailaddress of any of them? Regards, Fernando
i got the tv stuff and hawaii concert...these guys had such power live it is just unreal....another band that i just loved was vanilla fudge. mark stein the hammond player in the fudge said in an interview on the web that the rascals and felix in particular was a big influence on him....the thing i loved about the rascals was that they never did a depressing or negative song....not like this cynical crap nowadays i sound like an old fart dont i...kj

In 1999 me and my wife were on vacation in America.We visited live performances by The New Rascals with Dino and Gene(we also met them backstage) and Felix Cavaliere's Rascals. Eddie wasn't performing that time so unfortunately we didn't see him and we also didn't see David with Joey Dee's band. That was the first time I saw the Rascals(3 of them) performing live and it was so great. Greetings, Henny Happe MAN I AM IMPRESSED.EDDIE AND DAVID CAN SING LIKE NOBODYS BUISNESS.ON THE CD I AM SENDING YOU I AM INCLUDING A RECORDING OF A LOCAL BAND CALLED PRIDE AND JOY.THEY WERE AROUND IN THE LATE SEVENTIES AND REALLY HOT.THIS CAT THAT SANG LEAD IS A GUY NAMED JAY CAPPOZZI.HE WAS IN A BAND CALLED THE BRASS BUTTONS IN THE SIXTIES.THEY WERE MANAGED BY SID BERNSTEIN WHO ALSO MANAGED THE RASCALS.I BELIEVE THAT JAY FILLED IN FOR EDDIE SOMETIME AROUND 1967 WHEN HE CAME DOWN WITH A CASE OF PNEMONIA.IS THAT HOW YOU SPELL IT?WELL ANYWAY MY STUDIO IS CALLED SPECIAL DEDICATIONS.WE DO MOSTLY KARAOKE RECORDINGS FOR PEOPLE AND TAPE RESTORATION ,YOU KNOW IF SOMEBODY HAS AN OLD REEL TO REEL RECORDING OR RECORD THEY WANT BURNED TO CD WE DO THAT ALSO.I STARTED OUT AS A GUITAR PLAYER(GENE CORNISH WAS A BIG INFLUENCE ON MY STYLE)YOU KNOW HE HAD THAT CRAZY CHOP TO HIS CHORD PLAYING THAT WAS REALLY FANTASTIC.I ALSO PLAY KEYS(HAMMOND) I BOUGHT A MINT 1965 A100 HAMMOND,JUST THE S
AME AS A B3 BUT SPINET CABINET.I PLAY IT THRU A 147 LESLIE AND IT JUST BLOWS AWAY ANY DIGITAL CRAP NOWDAYS.MY STUDIO IS ALL ANALOG 8 TRACK TASCAM.I LIKE ANALOG FOR THE WARM SOUND.
I HAVE BEEN A RASCALS FANATIC SINCE I FIRST HEARD GOOD LOVIN ALMOST 40 YEARS AGO...CAN YOU BELIEVE ITS BEEN THAT LONG.THERE SONGS SOUND AS FRESH AS EVER.I AM A MUSICIAN IN ROCHESTER(HOMETOWN FOR SOMETIME OF GENE CORNISH)AND I CAN TELL YOU THAT THE RASCALS HAD MORE INFLUENCE ON GUYS LIKE ME PUTTING TOGETHER ROCK BANDS BACK IN THE SIXTIES THAN THE BEATLES DID.
